Fragrance Innovation Summit: book your place for December 1st

A new olfactory revolution is in the air! As many consumers worry about the future of the planet, the fragrance industry cannot stand still. Several initiatives already give a glimpse of what the new era of perfumery could be like: Coty’s choice to use an alcohol made from “recycled” carbon produced by LanzaTech, the launch of a production unit for biosourced perfumery ingredients by Afyren, Symrise’s extraction of natural fruit scents, etc.

The next edition of Fragrance Innovation Summit, December 1 in Pariswill be an opportunity to take stock of the latest innovations in fine perfumery during a day around four main themes:

1. New olfactory territories

Through analysis of global market trends by The NPD Group, insight into trends in China and South Korea, by Asia Cosme Lab, Meiyume and JUS, and in the United States by Cosmetics Inspiration & Creation and Spate.

2. New digital scent experiences

With connected objects and scent diffusers from Noar, analyzes from Predity, BWEEZ, Laure Braive and Sommelier du Parfum, and the experience of youtuber Demi Rawlings, who will unveil her new project in preview.

3. Holistic Perfumery

Including the use of neuroscience by Givaudan, the development of a soothing fragrance by Til and Emsopin, and a round table on the place of raw materials in the face of new consumer expectations, with Firmenich, Symrise, Caron and My Perfume is Me

4. The green revolution in perfumery

Environmental issues will be in the spotlight this year, with eco-responsible single-dose solutions from Sampling Innovation, the role of blockchain with Map Emlusion, upcycling solutions presented by Alpes Cambium, natural and alcohol-free perfumery from Expressions Parfumées and Superga Beauty, an overview of new sustainable (bio)chemical products, an assessment of the contribution of refills and the presentation of new solutions for more sustainable packaging.

A keynote from In•Signes and Trend Sourcing will open the day with an overview of how perfumery could enter the “symbiocene” era.

Of them special guestsAlain Renaudin and Laurent Billon, will offer a broader vision with a presentation on bio-mimicry and how it could boost innovation in perfumery.
