In-cosmetics Asia, the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region’s largest event for personal care ingredients, has opened registration for its 2022 edition which will take place in November.

With over 400 exhibitors ready to showcase their latest innovations and insights into ingredient trends, the show even hopes to connect personal care professionals with business and networking opportunities in the APAC regions, which today represent 36% of the global cosmetics market.

Attendees will be able to experience the latest ingredient technologies from Singapore-based Sequential Skin, a biotech start-up that has developed the world’s first at-home microbiome skin test; Korean bio-venture company Cellicon Lab, which will showcase its new PermeaCell peptide technology; and Sime Darby Oils Nutrition of Malaysia, the world’s largest producer of certified sustainable palm oil, which will provide insight into sustainable practices in the palm oil sector.

India’s AVT Natural, meanwhile, will discuss how brands can meet the demand for “cleaner” alternatives in cosmetics and personal care products, while Thai Flavor and Fragrance (TFF) will present its personal care and fine fragrance portfolio.

The event’s Innovation Zone, meanwhile, will feature demonstrations of active and functional ingredients such as Croda, Ichimaru Pharcos, Chemyunion and more, while the dedicated Spotlight On product exhibit will highlight the Fragrance, Healthy Skin and Makeup categories.

Confirmed exhibitors include Cargill, Givaudan and DSM, who will provide hands-on, live sensory experiences for visitors to experience their latest ingredients for these uses.

Formulators can also visit The Formulation Lab to learn about new ingredients and formulation techniques from suppliers such as Gattefossé, Nikko Chemicals and Hallstar Beauty.

The 2022 edition will also host a masterclass on the development of solid and waterless cosmetics, led by the event’s new technical advisor, Dr. Oliver Hofmann, who will explore the problems faced by formulators as brands seek to eliminate plastics and to meet the growing demand for more environmentally friendly products. solid options.

Finally, the event’s Marketing Trends & Regulations program will provide attendees with insights from the professionals on the latest NPD trends that will shape the future.
