Kylie Cosmetics launches the Wizard of Oz collection

Kylie Cosmetics has teamed up with Warner Brothers Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch a limited-edition makeup collection inspired by the classic movie The Wizard of Oz.

The range includes a pressed powder palette featuring blush, highlighter and eyeshadow named after the characters from the film; a set of matte lipstick; metallic lipstick; and transformative lipstick. Products are promoted as clean, vegan and cruelty-free.

The lip tint is described as an innovative emerald green formula that “transforms on contact with the lips to deliver a unique pink hue that’s uniquely yours.” The product incorporates squalene and a complex of esters to take care of the lips and leave them shiny without any sticky effect.

The collection was launched a few months after the announcement of a modern remake of the classic film which is currently underway.

“The Wizard of Oz was one of my favorite movies growing up, and it was so amazing to create this collection inspired by the iconic film,” Kylie Jenner said.

The Wizard of Oz Collection Pack retails for US$157; individual products range from $22 to $45.
