The survey reveals that 66% of teenage girls wear perfume every day and 39% of teenage boys wear perfume every day, which is far more than the percentage of teenage boys who wear makeup every day.
The favorite perfume brands of teenage girls
Annual spending on fragrance was $66 for teenage girls compared to $54 last fall, with high-income teenage girls also spending slightly less at $62/year and middle-income teenage girls spending slightly more at $67/ year.
Bath & Body Works ranked #1 among all teenage girls’ favorite scents at 38%. For upper-income teens, Bath & Body Works held 29% mindshare, and for middle-income teens, Bath & Body Works held 40% mindshare.
Victoria’s Secret consistently ranked No. 2 across all revenue categories, while Sol de Janeiro, Ariana Grande, and Chanel consistently ranked in the top 5.
Coty had a strong representation in the top 10 fragrances for teenage girls, with Marc Jacobs at No. 6, Gucci at No. 8 and Burberry at No. 10. Additionally, Coty’s Philosophy brand made the top 20 at N ° 14.

The favorite perfume brands of male teenagers
Annual spending on fragrances was $60 for male teens compared to $48 last fall, with high-income teens actually spending less at $53/year and middle-income teens spending slightly more at 62 $/year.
Dior by LVMH took the No. 1 seat among teenage males with 15% like-mindedness, while Versace took the No. 2 seat with 13% like-mindedness.
Bath & Body Works ranked No. 6 among teenage boys, with Gucci de Coty and Calvin Klein at No. 5 and No. 9, respectively.
